Keep them wet while you're using them and clean them with soap and water. If you do happen to have some of them dry out, use denatured alcohol or acetone to wash them out.

Don't let the paint dry the least bit on the brushes. Keep the brushed submerged in water until you can to them. I use a plain bar of soap but work the later into the bristles with my fingertips. Then I leave them a bit wet, I shape them with my fingers as I let them dry.
I always use plain old water for acrylics and turpentine for oils.
