I am thinking about building one out of acrylic.
The ants would probably be carpenter ants, which are pretty small.
I don't want to make it so thick that the ants would avoid the outsides, but I also don't want the tunnels to collapse because the panes of acrylic are to close.
Would a quarter of an inch be good?How much space should there be between the acrylic in an ant farm?
i'm not so good with this subject.
