What type of acrylic paint for a mural in a bedroom?

I am making a dinosaur theme in my sons bedroom and I already painted the background.

I ussually paint woth oils but logically I am using acrylics. So far I have use the cheap crafts paints that come in a small round bottle, but I was hoping I could use regular acrylics like the ones people use for canvas, such as golden or liquitex.

Would those be alright for the wall?

Any advice before I start would be appreited. What type of acrylic paint for a mural in a bedroom?
The main difference between an expensive acrylic and a cheap one is in the proportion of medium and pigment...the more pigment the more opaque the color and the finer the pigment will have been ground prior to bonding with the medium. Often with a cheap color you will find yourself coating twice or more to get opaque coverage when you want it . This is a problem for me so I buy a mix of brands ...when I want good first time coverage I pay the price necessary to get it. You will find this problem exaggerated in the more expensive colors such as cadmiums. Any of them will work well on the wall just don't thin them out until they are flat looking...this reduces the colors intensity and makes it easier to rube of as it doesn't have enough medium [binder] in it . If you paint this way you might consider putting a coat of medium over all to seal it.What type of acrylic paint for a mural in a bedroom?
If my mom painted dinosaurs on my bedroom wall when I was a kid, I'd think she was the greatest mom in the world. Oil paint sounds too involved for what you're doing. Use acrylics and they wash easier (just don't use hot water). Liquidtex used to make a series called Basics. Real good paint and cheap too. Perfect for what you're doing. But overall, most larger art stores and most craft stores carry cheap quality acrylic paints that will make your mural look really good. Smaller stores will be pricier, naturally. Don't forget to pick up a roll of film or camera while you're there. You're painting a kid's bedroom, and your son will grow out of it in a few short years, but be sure to take pictures of it for him. One day he'll be really glad and grateful you did!
Acrylics would be fine, I've used them for this exact thing, and they are very durable.

Just be aware that some colors may contain toxic pigments (cadmium, lead) so if your son is a wall-licker, avoid those.
the small bottle type you're using may be best for fun projects and not as costly, the tube acrylics for canvas can be used, yet possibly more costly for this type of mural, if large amount , there large containers, check various stores in your area like walmart, craft , or dollar stores,
