Get one of those sticky rollers -- you can buy them in bulk from Costco.
Take a brand new razor and gently go over the sweater you will see it start to come off
Buy a lint brush from a two dollar/junk shop. They are commonly used on suits.
roll up Sellotape around your fingers, sticky side up and dab over sweater. this will remove the fluff
use a lint brush.

and if you don't have that try tape
If you have Duck Tape around the house that will work!
