What is a good brand of non-toxic acrylic paint?

I want 2 get sum for my girlfriend for x-mas, she likes to paint by hand.

I could also use suggestions for other accessories that go good with acrylic paints if you have them.

Thank u naw!What is a good brand of non-toxic acrylic paint?
Try dickblick.com...

I prefer Liquitex, but a lot of people use Winsor %26amp; Newton, I think it's called, and Grumbacher.

Paint brushes, a canvas, or a wooden art box would go nicely with a gift like this, and make sure you get a cool card!

Good luck!What is a good brand of non-toxic acrylic paint?

Non-toxic acrylic paint is a relative things... it largely depends on the pigments....

some pigments are quite toxic... there are even pigments that are dangerous to your testes.

Most of the manufacturers publish spec sheets outlining the issues with each color %26amp;/or product. I particularly like Goldens' information sheets.

anecdote: one of my daughters swallowed a good share of a tube of Cerulean Blue... she was in diapers... we stopped at a gas station to get gas and change her diaper....

the attendant saw the blue crap in the diaper and freaked out... ';you better get her to the hospital right away !!!';

we had called poison control and they said that she would be alright... and there were no ill effects.
