How do I get acrylic paint out of my jumper?

In school, we were painting with acrylics and I got some on my jumper :|


A normal wash in the washing machine doesn't seem to get it out, surely there must be some way or product capable of removing acrylic from a jumper?


Any thoughts or ideas would come in very handy and be much appreciated.

Once the paint has dried in fabric before washing there isn't a way to remove it. When you get paint in fabric, you have to start washing it immediately with cold water and soap until it runs clear.
