Does acrylic paint work on glass jars?

I'm painting on glass bottles and making them into make-shift vases or candle holders.Does acrylic paint work on glass jars?
I paint alot of things like that. I find good results using apple barrel acrylic paints. I'm cheap, so instead of using mod podge as a clear protective topcoat, I buy a can of clear spray paint %26amp; spray the object after it's dry. Nice semi glossy finish that lasts a long time %26amp; helps keep your acrylic paint from chipping off. Makes it easier to clean the objects too.Does acrylic paint work on glass jars?

Both FolkArt and Ceramcoat and other acylic paint makers produce enamel or waterbased ceramic and glass paints now. Look for them in the same displays as the regular craft acrylics in your Jo Anns or other craft store.
