Is it better to purchase an acrylic or cast iron bathtub for a house?

Typically, does anyone know how much acrylic and cast iron bathtubs go for? Not one with whirlpools or added features. Is it better to purchase an acrylic or cast iron bathtub for a house?
The two popular choices are really cast iron and fiberglass. Fiberglass units usually have the tub, and the walls in one unit, while a cast iron tub is a ';tub-only'; which requires you to tile the walls. The prices are similar, around $300-$500.00 each depending on color and brand. Keep in mind that a cast iron tub that is room temperature, takes more hot water to warm it, but it stays warm once it is heated. The other thing to consider is ease of access. Cast iron tubs are extremely heavy, and difficult to carry to a second floor. Personally, I would buy a fiberglass unit.
