Will acrylic water still work if I put modeling clay in it? Will it dissolve the clay?

[Acrylic water is for making silk flower arrangements permanant while still looking like water] The clay I will be using is coloured modeling clay that doesn't harden. Thank you for your time and I would greatly appreciate it if you could help.Will acrylic water still work if I put modeling clay in it? Will it dissolve the clay?
Colored modeling clay is oil based, so are you wanting to put lumps of modeling clay, like stones or shells, into the solidifying acrylic ';water';?


or to color the acrylic?


It should be simple to test with a lump of clay and a small amount of the acrylic. From my experience, they shouldn't interfere with each other although I don't think the acrylic will stick to the clay.
