How long does it take to remove acrylic nails?

The ones you have put on in a salon? How long does it take to remove acrylic nails?
I swear that sometimes the answers that I read about this sort of thing are really unbelieveable, to say the least! The one and only safe method of removing acrylic nails is with the use of acetone. Pure acetone works best, but nail polish remover which contains acetone will also work, though not as quickly in most cases.

To answer your question, when done properly, it will take about a full 30-40 minutes of soaking, and then some extra time to remove the softened acrylic and complete the nail service. So, that means it will take one full hour or longer. No longer than one hour and fifteen minutes usually for the complete job.

These people who pry them off, tear them off, or in any way force them off are damaging their natural nails - sometimes severely, and also causing themselves unnecessary pain. This is not the way to do it. The chop shops that you see on every street corner will do it this way. And believe me, they will not be able to force them off in a way that won't ruin your nails. Think about it. The acrylic is held to your natural nail with a very strong bond. By forcing them off, the acrylic will hold onto much of the nail, and will pull it right off along with the acrylic nail. What is so difficult for people to understand that this is not the way to remove acrylic nails? Because that's what the cheapo salons do? The chop shops do not know how to do nails in the first place, and they don't care about you, or your nails. They just want to get the job over with as quickly as possible. That is why they do this kind of garbage to you. Most often, the workers (not techs, workers) in these joints are untrained, unskilled, and unlicensed with an attitude to match their ignorance about nails.

To avoid this, go to a highly skilled, experienced, AND licensed nail professional who takes pride in their work, and does their work the right way - every time. These techs can be found only at highly reputable nail salons. You will not find one in the chop shops. Going to a top notch tech will also mean much better looking nails to begin with because they normally use the best professional products available, and they know how to use them very well. The difference is like night and day. It's a huge difference. It really is.

BTW, you can remove acrylic nails at home. And you don't have to buy the products you need off of the internet. The chemical is acetone which can be found in just about any beauty supply store, or even at places like Walmart. You can use the acetone that home improvement places like Lowe's or Home Depot sells. Acetone is acetone. There is no difference between the stuff sold at hardware stores, or in beauty supply stores. It's just labeled differently at the most, like ';Acrylic Nail Remover,'; or whatever. But it is no different than the acetone sold elsewhere.

Sorry so long!!!How long does it take to remove acrylic nails?
If you go back to the salon, or any salon, they can have them off in about 10 mins. Be careful if you try to do it at home cos you can damage your nail bed and your nails will grow back kinda funny.
Why is time an issue? Anyway..my girl gets one of the fake nails and just lifts the old nails right off in seconds, it doesn't take long at all. However, if they chip them off with the clippers it's slower and a little painful.
About an hour - they soak your nails in acetone solution then file the acrylic nails off.
ABOUT 2 WEEKS..
I'm not sure but soak them in some nail polish remover
