What kind of varnish would you apply over an acrylic painting on a wooden cabinet?

I'm using acrylic paints to draw something on a wooden cabinet, but I need to make sure it lasts long. What should I apply on top to keep it in good condition, and what brands are best?What kind of varnish would you apply over an acrylic painting on a wooden cabinet?
if possible, the same acrylic base paint in clear coat spray, suggest testing on scrap piece of material first,
