Where could I find plastic or acrylic to replace the glass in a framed picture?

I need something that would not be breakable but would still protect the photo underneath. Thanks for your input in advance!Where could I find plastic or acrylic to replace the glass in a framed picture?
Lowe's or Home Depot. Plexiglass is best and it comes in different sizes or they'll cut if for you. Much cheaper than a frame store and virtually indestructible. Will not break like glass does.Where could I find plastic or acrylic to replace the glass in a framed picture?
im a photographer... the easiest and cheapest way to protect valuable photos from damage is to laminate them!

the pockets are about 10p each and are perfectly transparent after sealing.... BUT, if you do it at home, beware of air pockets, you must smooth the pocket as it passes thru the laminator and keep it perfectly flat until it cools off ( a minute ot so)

the downside is... you only get one chance...

B%26amp;Q do acrylic sheet. as will any art suppliers shop
Go to your local photocopy store and have your picture laminated. Place it in the frame and replace the cardboard backing. This will cost just pennies. I suggest a satin-finish clear sheet to laminate instead of a high gloss plastic laminate sheet - satin is richer and classier.
Lowe's or Home Depot. You'd have to buy a larger piece, but they'll cut the size you want.
Try a picture framing shop, an art suppliers or B%26amp;Q
