Does anyone know how to get acrylic paint off of a white T-shirt?

I got a few spots of acrylic paint on one of my white T-shirts. Regular detergent/stain remover won't work on it. Does anyone know what could remove acrylic paint from a 100% cotton, white T-shirt?Does anyone know how to get acrylic paint off of a white T-shirt?
Nail polish remover (or any strong solvent) will remove it without harming the shirt.

Actually, a strong solvent like lacquer thinner or acetone (which is what nail polish remover contains along with amyl acetate, which is also called ';banana oil';) or even isopropyl alcohol will dissolve any acrylic, not just acrylic paints. It'll dissolve acrylic nail polish, acrylic grout sealer, acrylic floor finish, and even the grand daddy of all acrylic products, Plexiglass itself.

Plexiglass, Lucite and Perspex are all different trade names for the same plastic, namely polymethyl methacrylate.

Acid? Acid won't harm latex (or acrylic) paint? I use phosphoric acid all the time along with a Magic Eraser to remove scuffs from painted walls. It doesn't harm the paint. My guess it would harm the shirt before it harmed the paint. If acid harmed acrylic resins, every woman would know to be careful not to spill vinegar on newly painted fingernails.Does anyone know how to get acrylic paint off of a white T-shirt?
acid works too, just a Little more tricky than scissors, you have to make sure you get it on only the one side of the shirt, hehe good luck with that.
Scissors!
